This program is for local churches that wish to establish, grow, and/or enhance a Praise Team/Choir at their local church. choir.jpg This program is divided into 4 semesters so as to provide Praise Team/Choir Members essential tools and skills that will enable the individual to thrive in a Song for Worship Ministry. Local Ministry Leaders and/or Pastors may work with the instructors to tailor curriculum based on the local church’s liturgy. Content of curriculum may include elements of music theory, sight-reading, voice technique, and stage performance concepts among other elements. Upon completion of the Local Church Ministry Program, individuals will be equipped with specific basic training and abilities such as harmonic singing, voice ensemble performance, and choir singing for the purpose of worship at the local church level. Groups may be comprised of all-children ages 6-9 years old, preteens 10-14 years old and/or all-adults 15+ years old.

Duration of Classes: 1 ½ hours each class
Class schedule: Class days & times TBA (Subject to availability)
Location: Harmony Campus or local church facility. (Certain requirements and restrictions apply. Contact our Academics Office for more information.)
Duration of Term: 20 weeks

Cost of Tuition per student based on group size. Please see below.

Groups of 5-9 students: $20 per week per student
Groups of 10-15 students: $15 per week per student
*Groups larger than 15 will be split into smaller groups of 15 or less.
Registration Requirements
  • $75 registration fee applies
  • 2 passport sized pictures
  • Picture ID

Tuition payment options include biweekly and monthly payments. Tuition is due before the student can attend class; depending on the payment options chosen at registration. Students may also elect to pay in advance for the entire cost of the semester. Registration is required each semester, however, the registration fee is not required if a student is registering for his/her coursework in consecutive (uninterrupted) semesters.
